Palestine-born, Netherlands-raised Stryder saw hip-hop as a way to express his anger and frustration about social problems and the war in Palestine. Together with Gaza, the duo quickly became loved within the Dutch underground hip hop scene. After suddenly losing his voice in 2012, his socially critical and painful lyrics can be heard again. Together with Gaza and De Marksman, Stryder formed the hip-hop collective Camp Rauw, and also started performing solo in Spoken Word & Poetry. For this year’s festival, Stryder will be performing a Spoken Word in honor of the Palestinian people.
